Lincoln Heights Outreach Inc. (LHOI) was founded with a simple yet powerful vision: to uplift, empower, and walk alongside the residents of Lincoln Heights and surrounding communities. Born out of a desire to respond to real needs with dignity and compassion, LHOI has grown from a grassroots effort into a vital community anchor.

For years, our village—rich in history, resilience, and culture—has faced systemic challenges that threaten the well-being of our children, families, and seniors. LHOI exists to counter those challenges with practical support, strategic programs, and an unwavering belief in the strength of our people.

Founded in 2012 by visionary leaders of Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church (LHMBC), LHOI was created to provide programs and services tailored to the unique needs of the community. Born out of a deep commitment to uplift and empower, LHOI responds to local challenges with practical support, strategic initiatives, and an unwavering belief in the resilience and potential of our people.​

From distributing food and offering rent and utility assistance, to providing afterschool enrichment, youth development, and adult day services, our work is holistic. Every service we offer is designed to help our neighbors not just survive—but thrive.  As we look to the future, LHOI remains grounded in our values: service, dignity, accountability, and hope. We are proud to be a trusted partner in the community, and we continue to grow, adapt, and dream—always with Lincoln Heights at heart.
